Spring is rainy, how can warehouses prevent materials from getting damp and moldy?
1、 Reasonably arrange storage locations for high-risk materials
Reasonably arrange storage locations for high-risk materials, and for materials that are prone to rust, moisture, and are prone to change, such as leather, fur, cotton, denim, wood, and moisture sensitive electronic components, they should be arranged in dry and ventilated places.
When arranging the storage location of materials, it is necessary to fully consider the internal and external factors that affect the quality of the materials, and minimize the damage to the material quality during the storage process.
2、 Scientific stacking of materials
For materials that are afraid of overheating or easy to change, do not place them directly on the ground. Instead, place them on shelves or pallets. Shelves and merchandise should be placed at least 50cm away from commercial walls, 150cm away from production windows, and 20cm away from high ground. For borrowed items placed on pallets, do not stack them too high. Instead, stack them in a ventilated stack shape with a gap between each stack.
3、 Control the temperature and humidity of the warehouse well
Hang temperature and humidity meters inside and outside the warehouse to monitor the temperature and humidity inside and outside the warehouse. Controlling the temperature and humidity of the warehouse can be achieved through ventilation, sealing, dehumidification, and other methods to keep the temperature and humidity within the required range of materials,.
1. Ventilation
Ventilation is the simplest and most effective measure to regulate the temperature and humidity inside a warehouse. There are two forms of warehouse ventilation: natural ventilation and wet ventilation. Natural ventilation involves opening the doors and windows of the warehouse to allow air to circulate naturally; Forced ventilation is the use of equipment such as exhaust fans for forced ventilation. When the relative humidity of the external environment of the warehouse is lower than that of the warehouse, natural ventilation can be used.
2. Sealing
Sealing is the process of sealing inventory materials in a certain space to minimize the flow of air and prevent and weaken the influence of natural factors on the materials. The main purpose of sealing is to prevent external humid air from affecting inventory materials. In a sealed environment, the temperature and temperature inside the warehouse are better controlled, thus achieving the effect of moisture prevention.
3. Tidal removal
When the air humidity in the warehouse is detected to be too high, use air conditioning, dehumidifiers and other equipment to adjust the temperature and humidity of the warehouse. If the warehouse is not equipped with air conditioning dehumidifiers, an appropriate amount of desiccant can be added to the warehouse or products to absorb the moisture in the air.
